The Forty Ninth Poem- The Gone Days

The Gone Days I think about my friends Who have gone on with their lives, We shared good times and set the best trends, Their reminiscence brings me profound smiles. How strange is life, That you have the best times with some people, Until one day they are no longer a part of your daily life, And the distance starts growing out like a ripple? Time and again I picture my friends’ faces, And recall the times of love and laughter; I grim at the ugly phases, Yet each of the ups and downs brought us closer together. It hurts not knowing when I’m gonna meet them again; Can I go back to those times which were simpler? Oh, is it a fair bargain? To choose those memories ’cause they make me feel lighter? I try to keep alive the connection, ’Cause each of them at different times was my saviour. Each one of them is worthy of celebration; In their own ways, they are recipients of my heart’s fervour. I miss them, and I wish our lives once again collide; Even if we meet at times or haven’t met since ...

The Forty Fourth Poem- Life’s a Celebration

Life’s a Celebration  Life is a big canvas,  Waiting for you to splash colours. Continue to work and have faith regardless, And see life shower you with the prettiest of flowers. Life gets so much better, Once you let go of your worries. Your mind, body and spirit get so much fitter, When you make peace with all of your life’s stories. Life can get miraculously blessed, When you are good intentional; There would be no room for you to be stressed, And life would become much more special. Life is a one time experience, And it’s uniquely yours; Continue to extract its precious essence, And in times of despair, lean on the divine force. May we continue to believe In life’s magical ways of things; May we all have precious moments to relive, And may we strive to be the best of human beings. Life is about celebration, So in its grand scheme of things, May we continue to have revelations, And accept life in all the experiences that it brings. -Jaanvi Veluguleti

The Thirty Third Poem- Wintery Mornings

❄️ Wintery Mornings❄️ The pleasantness of dawn invites me, Long walks in the early hours entice me, Wintery morning’s cool breeze, Makes me feel so light and free. When people haven’t woken up yet, Half the world is asleep; In perfect glory, the day is set; I’ve never felt a calmness so deep. The fog sets up a lovely scene, Causing a little shiver in me; With my mind in peace and the land around me green, Surely there’s no other place I’d rather be. Freshness of my neighbour’s lilies, The smell of moist mud under my feet, Strolling on the sand and stones of the streets, I feel nature’s embrace so deep and so sweet. As the sun’s first rays touch me, Warmth rushes into my body; As the blessings of the morning dawn upon me, I feel the amount of strength and wisdom I embody. There’s just something about wintery mornings, Experience for yourself and see; You’ll enjoy the most exhilarating of mornings, So come on, unlock your peace with this golden key. - Jaanvi Veluguleti

The Twenty Seventh Poem- Who’s My True Friend?

Who’s My True Friend? Why are they mean? What did I do? Why don’t I feel seen? I’m surprised, cause this is new. Are they jealous of me? That I’m the best in my own unique ways? Or because I found the magic key That they’d been digging since the pharaoh days? Once we were the best of friends, Until suddenly the tables turned upside down; Leaving me unable to comprehend, Thinking if it was me who let them down. I try to hold them on to me, Wishing it would become the way ’twas before; But dear, they’re running away from me, So I give up, realising it’s not a score. I let them go and I refind peace; The insecurity I had previously Miraculously turns into ease; And I turn inside me lovingly. I sit with myself, With my hands wrapped around me, And willingly reassure myself, That no one’s my best friend than me. Sometimes that’s how I learn- I collect my floor-fallen pieces, Pick myself up and around I turn, And arduously try to think of happiness and roses. Sometimes that’s how my healing ...

The Twenty Fourth Poem- Pause To Be Present

Pause To Be Present🤍 Switch up your priorities, Fall back into nature’s lap, Stop for a second and realise, That the world is yours to thrive. Set aside your deadlines, Pause all your activities; Sit for a moment in the calmness, Feel the moment’s joy and peace. Just stop the conversation, Be present in the silence; Listen to the Universe’s vibrations, ’Cause you, at that moment, will obtain the wisest solutions. Being present is the key to joy; The silence will give you happiness; ’Cause, you will know what to do, And you’ll be shown the way for you. Feel lucky to take time out for yourself, Societal contribution begins with the self. Dwell in the present and make its best, Just trust the process and forget the rest. Feel the Universe wrapping arms around you, Reminding you, “You are my sole heir, There’s nothing to worry about for you, Just be happy and I’ll do it for you.” Feel the joy in just being, Not doing, but just being here; Right at this moment, feel your heart beating. The Twelfth Poem- Onset Of Gratitude

🌈 Onset Of Gratitude🙏 Look around for yourself and see, In little things there is happiness. It doesn't matter even if you're weeping under a tree, There is always scope for gratefulness. It is human to have moments of grief and sadness, To feel sorry and to feel helpless. But it is also human to recognise the moments of joy amidst the hopelessness, To heal, and come back stronger from the darkness. It's better than a pill, it is pure magic; One who understands it, will never want for anything ever again. Gratitude is the saviour from the tragic; So be grateful, and you will be saved again, and again, and again. Be thankful that you are how you are, 'Cause mind you, it could've been worse; From reaping the results of gratitude, you are never too far; Just do it and witness the magic of the divine force. Be grateful that you are alive, And blessed to experience this beautiful life. Be thankful every moment, and you'll be assured to thrive; Gratitude is your sec...

The Ninth Poem- Euphoria Of Love

🟉Euphoria of Love💗 There's stardust on the floor. Oh where did the magic come from? Was it you who left the trail as you walked out of the door? Yes you, Angel of Love, I've heard your secret hum.  Never have I ever imagined, That I would get to witness your magical power; So overpowering, I feel your presence on me tightly gripped; Such is your enchantment; you provide the happiest ever bower.  I am trying to probe when you made your way, Into my house, and then into my Self, Was it when I was having the happiest day? Or was it when I started looking deeper into myself? I feel your beauty all around me, My every cell, my every strand is thankful. Would I ever have been able to imagine feeling so free? This is all I have ever asked for, my heart is full.  Oh Love, you are the greatest ever feeling in the world, You are the Ultimate Law of this Universe. Thank you for unravelling to me this mystery untold, That you, Love, are the supreme power of ours.  This is so m...

The Eighth Poem- Kindred Spirits

💞 Kindred Spirits 🍀 Oh Kindred Spirits! Join me, we'll do it together. Let's have frequent visits To see how we can make this world better. Shout-out to you, my allied forces, For always trying to explore and expand; I see you wiping away your tears and bruises, As you strive to take your stand. You want to grab a chance to prove yourself? So be it, we will look forward to your innovations. Let them run pages together and be left on the bookshelf, Waiting to inspire the coming generations. Let's start with the small changes, We can make along our ways; Let's make acquaintances and have pleasant exchanges, The people will slowly but surely come and give us praise. My dear kindred spirits, But make sure your intentions are pure; Your ideas should befit every soul there lives, Only then ...

The Seventh Poem- Letter From Heaven

✉ Letter From Heaven✨ One day I got a letter from heaven, It was the most iconic enclosure. I was miraculously shaken By its sparkling golden lustre. I say you've never seen such a wrapping before, It's very different from the ones I've seen before. There it was, placed on the step of my door, Looking enchanting and magnificent to its core. I didn't think once before rushing to claim it, Because I didn't want it to disappear in the blink of my eye; Just how it had arrived there in a mysterious kit, Without a name, or an address, or even a Hi. I didn't know why, but it felt so precious Before even opening it; But I did know that I was curious To absorb every little detail of it. So I sat down on my wooden chair, And uncovered it to find a note that read, "This letter is for you from Heaven up there, And I wanted it to reach you before you were dead." "I've seen you in your best and in your worst, Facing your fears and also getting engulfed in t...
