The Sixtieth Poem- Clearer Skies

Clearer Skies How far have I come From the scary nights To these starry skies And this magical glow? It feels like a decade past The bruises of the cold and the hot; Never had I fathomed That I’d suffer such a blow. They say “pain’s inevitable  But suffering’s optional”; But I didn’t know it, so I endured; And now I only see daylight ahead. Divine light encapsulates me, And the past feels far away; Leaving behind the less better days,  Now I go on, thoroughly done and dusted. Fresh air waits for me, And flowers greet me with their bloom; Wonder and joy embrace me once again, As I walk towards bliss with my hands free. -Jaanvi Veluguleti

The Fifty Fifth Poem- Five Seasons’ Greetings

Five Seasons’ Greetings From the moist ground, young seedlings emerge, And the prettiest of tulips and daffodils blossom; Fresh berries and cherries enjoy their prime,  As vibrance and lushness extend everywhere; Beautiful spring lovingly encapsulates one, In its pristine energy of rejuvenation. Summer sends the scorching Sun, Leading to beachy waves and memories of fun; Kids lining up at ice cream trucks for icy bites, All in all, enjoying the long holidays. Summer is hard but always memorable, For every summer has its own story to tell. Monsoon brings hearts to elation, As all pains are soothed to ease; Umbrellas and raincoats become steady companions, While soups and hot snacks make for soulful evenings. The sight, sound and smell of the rain  Perpetually bring relaxing comfort within. It’s the shedding season again; With the rustling of dry foliage and rustic hues, The earthy tones set mellow moods; Autumn exemplifies an essential transition, Reminding us that what is lost...

The Fifty Third Poem- The Garden Hour

The Garden Hour As mysteries await, I sit in eagerness; Trees in my garden sway, As I while away in the lushness. Eerie whispers of insects Ring throughout my garden periphery, As I ponder and suspect Questions of life amidst this breathtaking scenery. The sound of dried leaves rustling under my feet, And the whirl of winds rumbling around me, I feel a voice inside me waiting to greet, Waiting to check if I’d realise and see. It is the voice of silence within me, Trying to usher me into calmness and peace; “Your thoughts can just wait and be, I am embracing you a thousandfold, just feel at ease.” Sometimes just ‘being’ is what’s needed, The what-ifs can be thought about later; All of life’s conundrums will succeed, And all apprehensions will turn out for the better. So I sit on this quiet bench, While nature calms me today, And with peace in my mind I ascend, For the trees and the breeze will be mine everyday. -Jaanvi Veluguleti

The Fifty First Poem- My Haven

My Haven I used to come here for peace, The green trees and the quiet breeze Bring back all the lost memories; Oh, if I start, I can never stop with the stories. This place was my sacred haven, So precious and love-laden. During moments of contentment as well as grief, This place comforted me with hugs of peace. I saw endless sunsets from here, I gleamed at the infinite stars from here; Whenever I needed to replenish my magic, Coming here would just do the trick. I thought of poems while sitting here, ’Cause this place to me was so dear; I found answers when I was desperate, I always felt a surge of power that seemed infinite. Visiting back today brought a few tears Of joy and longing for the previous years, The whispers of wind and the divine’s bliss Will forever be etched within me like chef’s kiss. My haven has witnessed transformative alchemies, It holds endless moments and memories That are eternally mine to relish; And to continue having this perpetual nostalgia is my forever wis...

The Forty Fourth Poem- Life’s a Celebration

Life’s a Celebration  Life is a big canvas,  Waiting for you to splash colours. Continue to work and have faith regardless, And see life shower you with the prettiest of flowers. Life gets so much better, Once you let go of your worries. Your mind, body and spirit get so much fitter, When you make peace with all of your life’s stories. Life can get miraculously blessed, When you are good intentional; There would be no room for you to be stressed, And life would become much more special. Life is a one time experience, And it’s uniquely yours; Continue to extract its precious essence, And in times of despair, lean on the divine force. May we continue to believe In life’s magical ways of things; May we all have precious moments to relive, And may we strive to be the best of human beings. Life is about celebration, So in its grand scheme of things, May we continue to have revelations, And accept life in all the experiences that it brings. -Jaanvi Veluguleti

The Forty First Poem- Nature’s Power

Nature’s Power There’s calmness in nature’s quiet; The silence whispers volumes of wisdom. Once one starts to dwell in nature’s delight, One experiences unparalleled freedom. Nature’s stillness brings me comfort and peace; Just looking at the incomparable sight Turns my anxiety to ease, And reassures me that I will be alright. When the world pushes me towards exhaustion, Nature pulls me back to the greatest solace ever, And reminds me that slowing down is the golden key to creation; In that moment, I feel the greatest support ever. The serenity of nature, It contains every answer; Amidst our fast-paced culture, Nature’s stillness gives me the greatest power. Nature is my best healer, Nature is my greatest teacher, Nature will always be my strongest supporter, Nature will forever continue to be my most worthy inspirer. -Jaanvi Veluguleti

The Thirty Sixth Poem- A Piece Of Peace

A Piece Of Peace 🕊️ What is peace? Is it something I crave when trapped in chaos? Is it just meant to tease Me that I can’t have it whenever I wish? My mind is a mess, How much ever I try to calm myself, It always comes back to haunt me nonetheless; My fears and doubts continue to haunt my self-built Self. You will know it, What it’s like and how it feels, Only when you are in it; From outside it just looks like another bunch of dramatic reels. From time to time I crave it, But peace is a mystery hidden; Will I ever become fit To deserve it, gold-laden? Is it just because I am unhappy, And I forget who I am, That I feel so crappy, Unable to realise at this moment who I really am? Come back peace, Come back to me, Come back from within me, please, Come back and set me free. I feel hollow and mundane, So please light the spark within me. I promise to spread it like sunshine, Hence, unlock the gates to peace, let me feel it and be. - Jaanvi Veluguleti

The Thirty Third Poem- Wintery Mornings

❄️ Wintery Mornings❄️ The pleasantness of dawn invites me, Long walks in the early hours entice me, Wintery morning’s cool breeze, Makes me feel so light and free. When people haven’t woken up yet, Half the world is asleep; In perfect glory, the day is set; I’ve never felt a calmness so deep. The fog sets up a lovely scene, Causing a little shiver in me; With my mind in peace and the land around me green, Surely there’s no other place I’d rather be. Freshness of my neighbour’s lilies, The smell of moist mud under my feet, Strolling on the sand and stones of the streets, I feel nature’s embrace so deep and so sweet. As the sun’s first rays touch me, Warmth rushes into my body; As the blessings of the morning dawn upon me, I feel the amount of strength and wisdom I embody. There’s just something about wintery mornings, Experience for yourself and see; You’ll enjoy the most exhilarating of mornings, So come on, unlock your peace with this golden key. - Jaanvi Veluguleti

The Twenty Seventh Poem- Who’s My True Friend?

Who’s My True Friend? Why are they mean? What did I do? Why don’t I feel seen? I’m surprised, cause this is new. Are they jealous of me? That I’m the best in my own unique ways? Or because I found the magic key That they’d been digging since the pharaoh days? Once we were the best of friends, Until suddenly the tables turned upside down; Leaving me unable to comprehend, Thinking if it was me who let them down. I try to hold them on to me, Wishing it would become the way ’twas before; But dear, they’re running away from me, So I give up, realising it’s not a score. I let them go and I refind peace; The insecurity I had previously Miraculously turns into ease; And I turn inside me lovingly. I sit with myself, With my hands wrapped around me, And willingly reassure myself, That no one’s my best friend than me. Sometimes that’s how I learn- I collect my floor-fallen pieces, Pick myself up and around I turn, And arduously try to think of happiness and roses. Sometimes that’s how my healing ...

The Twenty Sixth Poem- Calm After Storm

Calm After Storm It was at the end of the storm, When the night began to take form, That the clouds cleared up, And the stars showed up. When the rain descended, And the rainbow came and ended, The dust settled down everywhere, Everything became clear, and the sky became bare. ’Twas when my outburst happened, And I released all my emotions that had heightened, That the ache in my chest disappeared, And all the good things reappeared. My story’s been tragic off late, I had caged myself at a high rate; Now I want to fly past this rusted gate, It's time for a new tale on a fresh slate. Untangled, caught up in the mess, I made efforts to come out, but it was always worthless; ‘Twas only when I realised that it was all a protection, That I could clearly see every bit of the perfection. I realise nothing good comes from bottling up things, I oughta free them up and give them wings; Just let them fly, just let them flow, ’Cause I will know real peace only by letting them go.  -Jaanvi Velu...

The Twenty Fifth Poem- The Peace In Letting Go

The Peace In Letting Go May I be a little honest? Why do you put such pressure on yourself? When you are allowed to take a rest, And the rest will take care by itself? Carry on with it, with all your focus, Give your best, and then let it go; But please don’t let it make you serious, Just let it happen, just let it flow. Your worth doesn’t come from the outside, Not from external praise or validation. It has always been inside, Waiting to be recognised, far past your frustration. Take a risk and give it a shot, Then sit back and relax, and watch; After putting in all the effort you got, Maybe not in the way you intended, but you’ll always go up a notch. Controlling has never gotten us anywhere, It is past ages since we’ve learned this lesson. So I’m telling you this because I want to share, That letting go will give you far more peace, than any calming session. Look, wait, plan, and then start doing. But if it doesn’t go as per your plan, Just introspect and learn from the foregoing. T...

The Twenty Second Poem- A Novice In Friendship

A Novice In Friendship I feel like an outsider; I want a company of pals. The thought of being the new one, Makes me feel dreadful. How should I talk? What should I say? Do they like me? Or are they simply tolerating me? What will it take, To be their friend? Should I lose myself, To become like them? I patiently try to find balance; Juggling with the right things to say, And protecting my peace of mind; Nevertheless, I hope to find a way. I respect them immensely, Cause they are undoubtedly amazing in their own way. But how to connect with them, and how to be with them, I don't know the sure shot way. So maybe I’ll just let the phase flow; Give up controlling and trying to be desperate; Cause I surely know for one, That the intentional ones will stay on forever. True friends, I will have so much to give them, Sunshine, hope, garden, and sunflowers. And I will have a lot to learn from them; And trust them, and love them, and be there for them. - Jaanvi Veluguleti

The Ninth Poem- Euphoria Of Love

🟉Euphoria of Love💗 There's stardust on the floor. Oh where did the magic come from? Was it you who left the trail as you walked out of the door? Yes you, Angel of Love, I've heard your secret hum.  Never have I ever imagined, That I would get to witness your magical power; So overpowering, I feel your presence on me tightly gripped; Such is your enchantment; you provide the happiest ever bower.  I am trying to probe when you made your way, Into my house, and then into my Self, Was it when I was having the happiest day? Or was it when I started looking deeper into myself? I feel your beauty all around me, My every cell, my every strand is thankful. Would I ever have been able to imagine feeling so free? This is all I have ever asked for, my heart is full.  Oh Love, you are the greatest ever feeling in the world, You are the Ultimate Law of this Universe. Thank you for unravelling to me this mystery untold, That you, Love, are the supreme power of ours.  This is so m...
